by Alice Tracy
A Full Moon rose and shone high in the Summer
Sky
casting eerie shadows across the summer lawn
then cloulds rolled in from the Western Sky
I looked again and the Moon was gone.
Whether this life be harsh or fair
I knew in my heart that the Moon was still there.
