giants' jackstraws
thrown down helter skelter
bereft of trunk and leaf and life
what's left

The Silver Moon

Silver Moon in the dark night skies
lonely stars shine down their eyes
remind us we are not alone
that something stirs beyond the veil
a secret wind, its gentle touch
comes to stir the empty sail
