Over the years I have read several books on reincarnation. Most of them attempt to “prove” that reincarnation is real, or else they assume that you already believe in it. Few discuss the meaning of multiple lives or how they affect our present life. While Karl Schlotterbeck’s book does give the most compelling evidence for reincarnation that I have yet seen, he also discusses how you can benefit from Past Life Regression (and the related karmic issues) even if you don’t believe in reincarnation!
Schlotterbeck also gives several ways to achieve a past life recall that go beyond psychic readings and hypnosis. His main claim is that we are already regressed when we find ourselves acting out a pattern from a past life. Our past lives live in patterns, physical representations and images (from dreams for example). Thus, it is easier than we think to access our past lives and learn from them information that will assist us in our present lives. If you are frustrated with trying to figure out how to access your past lives by the conventional techniques, give his approach a try. You might be surprised by how easy it is!
The best part of this book is Schlotterbeck’s discussion of karma. He goes well beyond the concept of a God judging us and giving out rewards and punishments for our behavior. His description of the multiple aspects of karma leave one with a thorough understanding of how our past actions affect us in the present. You will also be left with an understanding of how to use the information you gain from a regression to make positive changes and actions in your life that are no longer bounded by issues and patterns from the past.
If you are looking for a book to help you understand reincarnation and/or karma than you should definitely read this book. If you find yourself acting in a way you can’t explain and wonder why you can’t change, than you should definitely read this book. If you are looking for a new way to try to find information about your past lives, than you should definitely read this book.
I most highly recommend this book to anyone involved in Paganism who is looking for more information on reincarnation and the related karmic issues. I also hope he writes many more books on this topic, so pick up a copy today!
