Solitaries Advisor
A Druid Alone
Greetings, fellow Keltrians, and a special greeting to those of you who are currently working without a Grove. I am honored to have been selected by the Board of the Henge to serve as the new Solitary SIG Advisor.
Although I am currently the Grove Leader of the newly chartered Garrán an Eich Órbhuí (Grove of the Golden Horse), many of my years as a Keltrian Druid were spent alone performing ritual as a Solitary, without any nearby Grove contact. I did have a mentor from the Ring of the Oak to guide me from a distance, but as Keltrian ritual was not originally designed for the Druid Alone, I found that I often had to rely on my own inventiveness to adapt Keltrian ritual for my Solitary workings. That being the case, I feel that I am uniquely suited to assist other Keltrians who find themselves (either by choice or chance) in the same situation.
This column is for you, the Druid Alone. It is a place where I hope you will feel comfortable asking questions or sharing ideas pertinent to Solitary practice. Sometimes you will find your own questions being answered here, and sometimes you will find my ramblings, but hopefully all that you find here will be helpful to you in your growth as a Solitary Keltrian Druid.
Questions for possible inclusion in this column may be submitted through e-mail to TopazOwl@aol.com, or through snail mail to Topaz Owl in care of the Henge of Keltria.
Slán is beannacht,
Topaz Owl
