Whale Rider is about the struggle between the old ways and the new ways. And how indigenous beliefs can modernize and yet not lose the magick. It is a story of young verses old, fighting gender bias, and the importance of maintaining tradition. Although not specifically Celtic or Druidic, it is well worth watching for its entertainment value. - tt
